Officially started in 2002, Zenth is my dream. A home filled with Afghan Hounds possessing, grace, beauty, type, and speed. We are a small, private, hobby kennel with only a few dogs which we show on local circuits

The goal is to preserve, protect, and proceed with these fantastic creatures. To create dogs which excel in temperament, movement, speed, and sociability.

The Afghan Hound is an amazing dog, and a very misunderstood one. It was brought to my attention that there are few images of Afghan Hounds living their every day lives. There are few images and sites that allow someone who does not live with these wonderful souls to take a peek into the daily life of the Afghan Hound. The goal of this Kennel is to remove some of the shroud of confusion that is around the Afghan Hound, and reveal their wondrous depths.

There is more to them then the beautiful hair and breathtaking movement that is their hallmark. These dogs are intelligent, kind, sweet tempered, with a mischievous streak that could challenge a toddler. They are not mindless or automated, but animated in a deep, amazing way.

These pages are devoted to the Afghan Hounds of Zenth (we do have a token GSD) and a few cats and other dogs that share their space.
