Lavender as a Dog: I have never had such a low maintenance pet. Lavender does not need attention, she rarely seeks it and she meets the textbook definition of aloof. While a sweet tempered dog and very easy to work with, Laven is not needy, not clingy and turns people off with her cool personality. However she is also my alpha bitch and a wonderful mother.

Some wonder, why do I like such a unaffectionate dog. Well, she is affectionate, she is just not physically so. I do not need her to lick and jump on me for her to tell me that she likes me. She is always in the room that I am, and makes sure to greet me whenever I come home. She has no problem with saying hello from the couch and I do not push her to be what she is not. I enjoy Laven as the dog that she is and I have no regrets from that.

Lavender as a Show Dog: There is no Lavender as a show dog. She would rather eat ground glass and nurse a foal. You can not make a dog show and she has proven that point quite well.

Lavender's place at Zenth: Lavender is a lovely, refined dog with a sweet temperament even if she is very aloof. In the whelping box she has proven her value to the future of my lines. Her puppies are beautiful, refined dogs with silky coats and lovely expression. She has done what any breeder asks of their dog, and that is to produce better then themselves. Laven is a vital piece of our puzzle and will be with us to the end.

I asked her to reproduce her looks, and she handed them to me. One can not ask more from such a fantastic girl.
