I am not the best artist in the world but I do like some of the stuff I do. Not everything here is completed and I plan to update as I complete projects and start new projects. I do not do realistic drawings or paintings well, but I do enjoy just letting the pen or painbrush follow its own path and seeing what comes from it.

At some point I hope to sell most of my stuff, but what I've done right now is rather clumsy, but I'm willing to share!

    Paintings
My blue image is one of my first oil paintings of an Afghan Hound. It is not as refined as I like to see but I've just been working with the medium. A Smooth Fox Terrier photo I am rather proud of. I think its pretty cool and carries the abstract look that I like a lot. I used my friends smooth as my guide. The eye is the only part I dislike but teaching myself to paint is an ongoing process.

This is a little Shih that I made for my friend. It was critiqued by some shih people and I am told that the expression is off becuase the eyes are to high and far apart. Ahh well, it was a fun project, I ment to detail the ground but left it a blurred visual feel. One knows what it is but it is not defined since it is there to accent the dog. Weird I know but I actually like this peice. My next one should be better balanced in the face.

This was my second attempt at an Afghan Hound. Backs to short, gait is off and I dunno what I was doing but playing with paint. The paint is THICK as anything. But it was fun.

My first attempt at a painting. I don't know what I was doing and frankly its rather odd. my mother looked at it and walked off. I just slapped more and more and more paint down untill it kind of looked like something. It took almost a month to dry the paint was so thick.

My frist two attempts at afghan painting not working out, I came home from work one day and attacked the canvis. This is what happened. I call them my mer hounds and I have a strange affection for this absoutly freakish painting.

This is Ice Crystal, one of the male My Little Pony. He is not quite done but I'm pretty pleased with the painting. He needs his eye and a symbol still. His eye will be closed since he is napping.

Milkyway took me forever to get together. I'm not pleased with her but she dosen't suck. Her eye is really bad and I'll touch it up at some later point of life. She was a lot of fun to paint however but she needs some more shade detail. She took a very long time becuase with the white mane and tail I had to let her dry. She is also missing the blue streak in her mane which will be added when I correct her eye and do the shadeing.

I like my little pony and I collect them. This is a painting of MoonDancer once I finish her.

This will be Firefly and Baby FireFly once its done. I hope to get some of these paintings finished later this year once we move and I have a painting room that won't be rampaged by puppies.

    Sculptures
This sculpture was actually sold, but my first one. I have three more sitting on my shelf waiting for fireing and painting. None of the poses are the same and it takes a good bit of time becuause I am trying to stay true to the proper structure of the hound.

    Drawings
I drew this for a photo contest for an Afghan Hound Rescue. I was not picked but I like it anyway. This is one of my random scribbles. I love the whole cat person concept and she came out rather well I thought.
